We are a mixed SATB choir with four strong sections and around forty members. A diverse and sociable bunch, we attract members from Bath, Bristol, Bradford on Avon, Warminster and Westbury – as well as Trowbridge of course! We sing a huge variety of songs: pop, folk, gospel, and roots, from Britain and beyond. The main ethos of the choir is that we enjoy singing together.

We love to perform!  We have sung at The Festival Hall and The Roundhouse in London, Bath Abbey, Wells Cathedral and The Courts in Holt, and at many festivals, pubs, prisons and markets. You can even find us busking on the street.

We love to share ideas and songs with other choirs both here and abroad and we aim to have a choir exchange every two years or so. In 2018 we had a fantastic time in Majorca, making friends and singing with a choir from a village near Alcudia.

If you are interested in joining us, we hold regular try-out sessions for potential new singers. To find out how to do this please get in touch directly with Rosanna  by emailing to arainydayinjune.co.uk or though our contact page There is no need to be able to read music as we learn by ear: however, music is available for some songs, for those who might want it. And there are recordings of all the songs on MP3s. Whatever your preferred way of learning, everyone is expected to sing without sheets when performing!

“Singing from the Heart” sums us up.  We love singing together with friends and we enjoy all the challenges and fun that goes with it.
